Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026. This policy explains what FrostRange ("we", "us") collects and how we use it.

1. What we collect

When you request the Winter Guide, we collect the email address (and optional first name) you submit. We store it in Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud) for the purpose of delivering the guide and, if you opt in, occasional updates. We also collect usage data automatically through cookies and similar technologies, described below.

2. How we use it

We use your email solely to deliver the requested guide and related content. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing.

3. Cookies and advertising

This site uses Google Analytics to understand traffic and Google AdSense to show ads, including personalized ads based on your visits here and elsewhere. Both set cookies and may collect device and usage data. Google may use this data as described in Google's Partner Sites policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings or, industry-wide, at optout.aboutads.info. Affiliate links may also set cookies via the merchant's site once you click through.

4. Third-party services

Email capture relies on Google Firebase (Firestore); analytics on Google Analytics; ads on Google AdSense. Each is a data processor operating under its own privacy terms, and data may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under Google's standard contractual clauses.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. You can exercise any of these by emailing frostrange@proton.me. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. If you're in the EU/EEA, you can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

6. Data retention

We keep your email on file until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics and advertising data are retained under Google's own retention schedules, which you can review in their respective policies linked above.
